Kelly is an experienced counsellor specializing in individual and family therapies dealing in a wide range of topics. She is an interactive, solution-focused therapist. Her therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, she works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing. As a family and relationship counsellor her areas of interest include families who struggle with congruent parenting, relationship matters, people with self-esteem challenges and those who may feel overwhelmed.
Kelly graduated from Notre Dame University in Fremantle, Western Australia with a Bachelor of Behavioural Science with Counselling. She has also attained a Graduate Diploma in Psychology from Edith Cowan University in Perth. She is also Stosny Compassion Power Trained (emotional abuse) and Step Parenting Qualified. Her work over the years has earned her experience in both the United States and Australia. She is currently serving as a private practitioner working with a broad range of clients.
Kelly is married with two children and has been with her husband over 10 years which provides perspective and understanding in the areas of parenting, marriage and relationships. With a husband who works for a mining company Kelly has also experienced first-hand the challenges with a FIFO family life.
Kelly is worldly traveled having lived in several different countries including Pakistan, Hong Kong and Ghana in West Africa. This real world experience enables her to be culturally sensitive and able to effectively communicate in cultural situations.
